Modernization of IT Infrastructure – Primato
Executive Summary
In response to the growing operational complexity and technology requirements of its manufacturing environments, Primato d.o.o. partnered with Trony Network to modernize and unify its IT infrastructure across two critical production locations: Spuž and Meljine.
The scope of the project included industrial-grade workstation deployment, modern networking infrastructure with VPN connectivity, centralized power backup systems, and robust structured cabling installations. All solutions were tailored to meet the highest standards in industrial IT reliability, hygiene, and expandability.
This investment provides Primato with the technological foundation to support digital transformation, operational continuity, and long-term efficiency gains in its production processes.
Project
Trony Network successfully delivered a comprehensive IT infrastructure upgrade for Primato d.o.o., a company with operations in Meljine and Spuž. This turnkey solution addressed the digital and operational needs of their production environment, ensuring seamless performance, reliability, and future scalability.
Workstation Modernization
- Deployment of 18 complete industrial-grade workstation sets, each installed in stainless-steel enclosures to meet production hygiene standards.
- All systems include integrated barcode scanners, thermal printers, and AIO industrial PCs, ready for integration with manufacturing software platforms.
Network Equipment
- Installation of both active and passive network equipment, including fully shielded Cat. 6A components, professional-grade patch panels, and rack accessories.
- Deployment of high-performance DCN Layer 2 switches and MikroTik routers supporting VPN, QoS, VLANs, and modern firewalling.
Services and VPN Integration
- Full installation, cabling, and configuration of workstations and network infrastructure.
- Implementation of site-to-site VPN for secure, synchronized operation between production sites in Spuž and Meljine.
- Rack cabinet setup and structured network documentation.
Centralized UPS Systems
- Installation of EATON 9SX 6000i RT3U UPS systems on both sites, ensuring uninterrupted operation of production software and workstations during power outages.
Structured Cabling System (SKS)
- End-to-end structured cabling design and implementation across both facilities using OBO regals, certified Draka UC500 FTP Cat. 6A cables, PVC conduits, and modular RJ-45 outlets.
- Compliant with fire safety, electromagnetic shielding, and industrial-grade cabling standards.
- System designed for integration with future systems (CCTV, fire detection, access control).
